About Karen
Originally from Charlotte, NC, Karen splits her time between New York City and the Southeast. Her acting credits include Broadway, national tours, network television, film, regional theatre, and numerous commercials and voice-overs. Throughout her career, Karen is thrilled to have worked alongside such highly accomplished talents as Guy Pearce, Robin Wright, Don Scardino, Elaine Stritch, Susan Stroman, Gina Gershon, Michael Showalter, and many others.

In a former life, she was a dancer for the Charlotte Hornets pro basketball team (and was surprised to end up designing the purple sequined and spandex costumes).

Legendary composer, Cy Coleman chose Karen to help develop material for a new musical (which led to many "pinch-me" hours singing with him at his piano.)

While living in Nashville working as a performer/producer for a national magazine show, she was mentored by comedian Minnie Pearl and often passed the time with Dolly Parton, Roy Acuff, and other notable luminaries on and off the Grand Ole Opry stage.
